Croatian filmmaker Hrvoje Hribar becomes FERA Ambassador
FERA is proud to announce the appointment of Hrvoje Hribar as a new FERA Ambassador.
Hrvoje Hribar joins Marco Bellocchio, Isabel Coixet, Agnieszka Holland, Michaël R. Roskam, Maurizio Sciarra, Charles Sturridge, István Szabó, and Jasmila Žbanić, distinguished European filmmakers whose work exemplifies the richness, diversity, and excellence of European audiovisual creation.
FERA Ambassadors are highly respected filmmakers who voluntarily support FERA’s mission by bringing visibility to the concerns of screen directors and engaging with policymakers.
Hrvoje Hribar is a Croatian film director, producer, and screenwriter born in Zagreb. He studied literature, art history, and film directing. Known for the hit comedy “What Is a Man Without a Moustache?”, he’s also directed award-winning documentaries and TV shows. From 2010 to 2017, he led the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, revitalizing national film production. He now works in film, advertising, and audiovisual consulting, and has received prestigious national and international awards for his cultural contributions.
