Doomsday or Rebirth? A rebellious take on European film’s future

Agnieszka Holland, Werner Herzog, Hrvoje Hribar, Marion Döring and Roberto Olla explore the future of European film.

 

Following an opening Keynote by former FERA Honorary President Hungarian director István Szabó, filmmakers Agnieszka Holland (current FERA Honorary President), Werner Herzog, Hrvoje Hribar (FERA board member, Croatia) and European Film Academy Director Marion Döring and Eurimages Executive Director Roberto Olla explored the future of European film: a doomsday scenario and its possible positive alternative – a vision-driven future for European film with, at its core, European co-productions and their visibility.

Moderated by FERA board members Domenico La Porta, Cineuropa editor and introduced by Slovenian director and FERA Chair Klemen Dvornik.
