The 25th edition of the European Film Awards
On the 1st of December Malta hosted 1100 professionals from the European film industry, who went to Valletta to participate in the 25th edition of the European Film Awards.
Presented by the European Film Academy at the beautiful Mediterranean Center Conference, the European Film Awards benefited from the support of several Maltese and European Ministries and organizations.
Among the nominated movies, the greatest success was achieved by Amour by Michael Haneke (France/Germany/Austria), that won the Awards for best film, best director (Michael Haneke), best actor (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and best actress (Emmanuelle Riva).
